These terms cover your use of GlassClock (glassclock.app). By using the site, you agree to them.
GlassClock is provided free of charge, with no account or sign-up required. It includes a world clock, a countdown timer with an alarm, and a stopwatch, all running entirely in your browser.
Use GlassClock the way it's intended to be used. In particular, don't:
Since GlassClock doesn't use accounts or server-side storage, anything it remembers (your world clock list, your theme) lives only in your browser's local storage. We're not able to back it up, recover it, or transfer it if you switch devices or clear your browser data.
GlassClock's timer includes engineering specifically aimed at keeping the alarm reliable even if you switch to another tab or app — including requesting your screen stay awake, and explicitly resuming audio if your browser suspends it in the background. That said, GlassClock is a browser-based tool, and browsers can still throttle, suspend, or restrict background tabs in ways outside our control, especially on mobile devices or after long periods in the background. Don't rely on GlassClock as your sole alarm for anything where a missed or delayed alert would have serious consequences. Use a dedicated alarm clock or your device's native alarm for anything safety-critical.
GlassClock is built to support a single ad slot served through Google AdSense, currently inactive. If activated, ads are subject to Google's own advertising policies in addition to these terms. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how that would work.
GlassClock is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlassClock and its creators aren't liable for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. This includes, without limitation, any missed alarms, timers, or reminders.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of GlassClock after a change means you accept the updated terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
