Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

GlassClock is built to work with as little data collection as possible. This page explains exactly what does and doesn't happen when you use it.

The short version

No account, no sign-up, no forms. GlassClock doesn't send anything you type or select to a server. The few preferences it remembers (your world clock list, your chosen theme) are stored only in your own browser, on your own device.

What's stored on your device

GlassClock uses your browser's localStorage — not cookies — to remember a small set of preferences between visits, entirely on your own device:

None of this is transmitted anywhere. It never leaves your browser, and we have no way to see it. Clearing your browser's site data for GlassClock removes all of it.

Browser permissions

GlassClock may ask your browser for two permissions, both optional and both used only for the feature they're named after:

Advertising

GlassClock is built to support a single, unobtrusive ad slot served through Google AdSense. As of this writing, that slot is inactive — no ads are currently being shown, and no advertising-related data is being collected.

If and when it's activated, Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, which can include information about your visit for the purpose of ad personalization. You can control ad personalization directly through Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of personalized advertising generally through the Digital Advertising Alliance. This policy will be updated with more specific detail before that slot is turned on.

Fonts

GlassClock loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Loading any web font involves a request to the font provider's servers, which may log standard technical information like your IP address, as is normal for any web request — Google Fonts does not use this to track you across other sites.

Children's privacy

GlassClock is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because we don't collect personal information from anyone at all.

Changes to this policy

If GlassClock's data practices change — most likely when the ad slot above is activated — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date at the top will reflect that.
